Mansoura National University’s Faculty of Pharmacy Establishes a State-of-the-Art Animal House to Support Scientific Research and Drug Development As part of its efforts to establish itself as a leading educational and research institution, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mansoura National University is developing an Animal House that meets global standards. This initiative makes it the only private university in Egypt and the only Faculty of Pharmacy in the Delta region to adopt this advanced model for supporting scientific research. The project aims to enhance the capabilities of senior students in conducting advanced research within pharmacology and toxicology courses. Additionally, it will encourage faculty members to develop pharmaceutical research, positively impacting the international ranking of both the faculty and the university.

It will feature cutting-edge equipment and technologies, including but not limited to

IVC system for mice (including 6 racks, 180 cages, and 3 ventilation units). IVC system for rats (including 2 racks, 128 cages, and 1 ventilation unit). Integrated Metabolic System for precise studies of pharmacological and physiological effects. Laminar Flow Cabinet, specifically designed to provide a sterile environment for studying immunocompromised rodents.
