My Dear Students,

Every year, may you be well. I wish you all success and achievement. I also hope for this young faculty continuous progress and prosperity, and that it may attain a prominent position among its peers in our esteemed universities. This goal can only be achieved through the effort and dedication of my esteemed colleagues, the faculty members, and the consistent attendance of my dear students in their lectures, along with their determination to acquire knowledge from various sources. This will equip them with beneficial knowledge that enables them to achieve their goals in life and carry the banner of scientific progress on the precious land of Egypt and within Helwan University in general, and the Faculty of Science in particular. The Faculty of Science spares no effort in providing all student services to its students through the legitimate channels of student organizations, represented by the Student Union.

I urge my dear male and female students to actively participate in student activities so that the university can fulfill its leading role alongside its academic role.

• Studying departmental proposals regarding external assignments for teaching and examinations, prior to presenting them to the faculty council.
• Supervising the care of students' sports and social affairs.
• Supervising the monitoring of teaching national courses and military education within the faculty.
• Supervising the affairs of international students.
• Preparing relevant content for the faculty's annual scientific conference.
• Supervising the preparation of databases as a foundation for information, decision-making, and the creation of periodic reports for the Faculty's Sector of Education and Student Affairs.
• Overseeing the provision of appropriate educational resources and ensuring their optimal utilization in the faculty's teaching and learning processes.
• Participating in the work of development and academic accreditation projects within the faculty.
• Monitoring the input and updating of student data on the university's database and its registration in records.
• Participating in training courses conducted by the faculty to enhance the efficiency of faculty staff.
• Reviewing examination schedules before their approval.
• Working to educate students about university regulations and their executive rules related to students and the educational process, as well as students' rights and responsibilities concerning study and examinations.
• Monitoring evaluation processes to ensure the validity of their implementation and resolving any problems or obstacles (whether periodic or end-of-year).
• Monitoring academic supervision through the follow-up of the Student Support and Academic Guidance Unit and contributing to facilitating any obstacles it faces.
• Monitoring and adhering to office hours.
• Resolving urgent problems, taking necessary decisions, and proposing how to deal with these issues.
• Reviewing student cases committees, chairing disciplinary committees for violating students, and applying the regulatory procedures against them in accordance with approved regulations and controls.
• Preparing a comprehensive report on performance in the educational process, evaluating this performance, identifying obstacles and implementation problems, and suggesting how to address them and improve future performance.
