• Attendance and organization of the “Current and Future Status of Local and Global Climate Change” conference, Helwan University, 3–5 October 2022, Egypt.

Lectures

• Delivery of a public lecture and participation with 2 posters in the Science Conference and Exhibition at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, February 2023.

Donations

• Donation by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Dkheil: 2 microscopes, a number of slides, and several scientific books in various specializations.

• Donation by fourth-year students to the department: a Quran.

Scientific Field Trip

• The department conducted a scientific field trip to Hurghada for fourth-year students majoring in Chemistry and Zoology in March, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tharwat Ghanem Abdelkader, with participation from the teaching staff and assistants.

Scientific Awards

• Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Dkheil and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Esmat Abdel Moneim were included in Stanford's list of most influential researchers for the third consecutive year.

• The department ranked third among scientific departments in scientific publishing.

• Prof. Dr. Ahmed Esmat Abdel Moneim received the third-place award for most published researcher.

• Prof. Dr. Ahmed Esmat Abdel Moneim received the Excellence Award in Basic and Applied Sciences for the academic year 2021/2022.

Research Projects

• Appointment of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Dkheil as coordinator for three international agreements with foreign universities (Spain, Germany, Jordan).
