Department head’s speech

The Department of Early Childhood Education is considered one of the distinguished academic departments, due to the availability of specific specializations from the faculty members and their assistants, as the specializations of the department members include: (public health - pediatrics - psychiatry - clinical toxicology - physiology - motor education - music education - artistic education, in addition to media, literature, and theatre).

I have a wonderful team of department council members who are dedicated to their work, and each of them has his clear fingerprints. I work through them. We have all pledged to work to build the future generation. We had to work constantly to develop the department's curricula and curricula to suit every development in the field of kindergarten.

The Department of Early Childhood Education seeks to provide distinguished and advanced preparation for kindergarten teachers in an integrated and balanced manner academically, professionally, psychologically and educationally, keeping pace with global developments in this field.

I am sending a sincere message to my daughters who are students. They must bear the responsibility to develop the pre-school child in an integrated manner and invest in his abilities in an optimal way. This is a goal that can only be achieved with more seriousness and diligence in acquiring knowledge.

About the department

The Department of Early Childhood Education was established at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University, in September 1982. It specializes in studies, research, courses, and training programs in the specializations of: child health, child media, child physical and motor education, child culture, child musical education, child artistic and aesthetic education, and children’s literature.

The Department of Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University, seeks to graduate specialized teachers to work in the kindergarten stage to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare a distinguished child physically, healthily, psychologically, educationally and socially.
