The Faculty of Education, Helwan University, is Environmentally Friendly

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty,
the leadership of Professor Dr. Wael Ramadan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs,
and the support of Professor Dr. Mona Abu Hashima, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development,

the Environmental Festival was organized by the Faculty of Education, represented by the "Friends of the Environment Family," whose activities focus on areas related to the environment and how to preserve it, deal with it positively, and utilize it optimally.

The festival was held under the leadership of Professor Dr. Hala El-Gazzar, Family Leader, and the assistance of Dr. Ahmed Mohsen, Deputy Family Leader, and Assistant Professor Amira Abdel-Ghani. The festival was coordinated by Professor Adel Refaat, Director General of the Faculty, and the Faculty's Youth Care Department.

The festival activities included a reception by the Dean of the Faculty for the judging committee of the General Administration of Youth Care at the University (Student Families Department). This was followed by a tour of the exhibition of student works based on environmentally friendly and reusable materials. In line with the curriculum and objectives of the family and the festival, the reforestation areas within the college were also inspected, along with the activities that included beautification activities that contributed to improving the overall environmental image within the college. The activities concluded with a presentation on the "Friends of the Environment Family's" activities over the past period, including seminars and workshops, participation in environmental and community caravans, and various activities both inside and outside the university.

The submitted works were well received by the members of the judging committee, who expressed their admiration for the remarkable momentum in environmental activities within the college and the efforts made in this regard.

This comes within the framework of the college administration's commitment to supporting student activities, expanding the base of participation, and enhancing the college's positive image across various sectors and fields.
