About the Center

the Center aims to assist the University in fulfilling its academic mission by providing opportunities for continuous and progressive qualification and training for various groups working in adult education, thus developing their skills in the latest professional and educational developments. This is achieved through:
Preparing and implementing training courses to prepare leading cadres to provide adult education services in accordance with the latest scientific, professional, and educational standards, meeting their needs and eliminating their problems.
Providing specialized consultations in the field of adult education. needs of various activities.













The Center's Vision

Continuous, effective communication with the college's graduates, contributing to the exchange of experiences between graduates and the college. This is achieved by following up on college graduates to ensure their continued advancement and improving academic programs to meet the requirements of local and regional labor markets. This enables college graduates to serve as valuable ambassadors in pre-university education institutions

The Center's Mission

Creating strong and effective relationships between the college and its graduates, and between the college and the community, by opening channels of communication and interaction between the college and its graduates for purposeful and constructive cooperation to serve the college, graduates, and the community. This contributes to achieving the college and university's mission of graduating qualified students capable of meeting the diverse needs of various activities.

The Center's Objectives:

• Preparing and implementing training courses to prepare leading cadres to provide adult education services in accordance with the latest scientific, professional, and educational standards, meeting their needs and eliminating their problems.
• Providing specialized consultations in the field of adult education.
• Conducting scientific research aimed at developing adult education systems.
• Strengthening cultural and scientific ties with other universities and academic institutions at the Arab and international levels through the exchange of scientific expertise and strengthening ties between adult education centers at Egyptian universities, institutions, bodies, and organizations.

Chair: Dean of the Faculty
Member: Vice-Chairman of the Board: Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development
Member: Director of the Center: A faculty member from the Faculty interested in the Center's goals
Member: Three faculty members interested in the Center's goals
Member: Non-voting: Financial and Administrative Officer of the Center
The Board may include members from outside the University with experience













Activities of the Adult Education Center 2024-2025

Activity Name: Seminar "The Role of the Faculty of Education Towards People of Determination"

  • The seminar was held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the West Helwan Youth Center under the auspices of: Professor Dr. Sayed Qandil, President of Helwan University
  • Professor Dr. Walid El-Sarougy, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service
  • Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty of Education
  • Professor Dr. Mona Sameh Abu Hashima, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service













Activity Name: Educational Seminar Entitled "Together Against Illiteracy"

The Faculty of Education, represented by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Office of the National Literacy Project at Helwan University, organized the seminar within the framework of the Office's training and awareness plan, and under the sponsorship of:

  • Professor Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of the University
  • Professor Dr. Walid El-Srougy, Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development

And under the supervision of:

  • Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty
  • Professor Dr. Wael Ramadan, Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Education Affairs The students, including Professor Dr. Mona Abu Hashima, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, held an educational seminar entitled "Together Against Illiteracy" on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in Hall (9A). The seminar was implemented by: Professor Dr. Walaa Salah, Coordinator of the Literacy Project at Helwan University
