Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Sayed Qandil, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Walid El-Srougy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Education, represented by Professor Dr. Mona Sameh Abu Hashima, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, held an awareness seminar for the faculty's students entitled "Digital Currencies (Bitcoin): Its Origin, Definition, and Risks" on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Hall 9A at 12:00 PM. The seminar featured the following:
- Professor Dr. Gaber Abdel Gawad, Professor of Economics, Faculty of Commerce, Helwan University.
- Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Lecturer, Faculty of Commerce, Helwan University.

The Faculty of Education's Agency for Community Service and Environmental Development, represented by Professor Dr. Mona Sameh Abu Hashima, Vice Dean, participated in a symposium organized by the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems, titled "Together Towards Building and Preserving Society." The symposium was implemented within the framework of the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi (A New Beginning for Human Development).

The symposium featured the following speakers:
1. His Excellency Professor Dr. Hassan El-Sayed Khalil, Assistant Secretary-General for Islamic Culture at the Islamic Research Complex at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif
2. His Excellency Dr. Sherif Abu Hatab, Director-General of the Cairo Preaching District at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif
3. They discussed ways to strengthen national belonging and citizenship, avoid alienation, and methods of prevention and protection from threats and dangers.
4. Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development, addressed the issue of illegal immigration.
5. Professor Dr. Samah Rabie, Director of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, addressed the issue of cybercrimes against women. and Protection Laws
5- Dr. Mohamed El-Saeed, Lecturer at the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, spoke about the risks of online betting, gambling, and the dark web.
6- Dr. Islam Abbas, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Economics, College of Foreign Trade, spoke about the economic risks of the arms trade.

A group of College of Education students also attended the seminar to benefit from the topics presented.

On the sidelines of the awareness convoy organized by the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems at Helwan University, which took place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Producers' Oasis Center in Masaken Othman, 6th of October City, the National Literacy Project Office at Helwan University actively participated in educational awareness and held spot exams for illiterate residents of Masaken Othman, with the participation of the General Authority for Adult Education branch in the 6th of October City Administration.
More than 80 male and female students from the Faculty of Education participated in the convoy, with a large gathering of residents wishing to eradicate illiteracy or continue their education.
Residents expressed their happiness and benefit from the day's activities, especially in light of the workshops and awareness-raising speeches that included:
