Welcome to the Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education, Helwan University, is pleased to welcome international students from various countries and cultures who have chosen to enroll there to further their academic studies and develop their educational skills. The presence of international students from various Arab and African nationalities enriches the faculty's educational environment and promotes cultural and intellectual exchange among students. The faculty strives to provide a comprehensive and supportive educational environment that enables all students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations, while providing the necessary facilities to ensure a successful and distinguished university experience.
The College of Education welcomes international students at the graduate and undergraduate levels in various disciplines. At the undergraduate level, the college offers more than 35 general and basic programs, in addition to distinguished programs, including language, literary, and scientific departments, as well as educational technology, special education, and kindergarten. It provides international students with academic support that helps them integrate into university life and student activities.
At the graduate level, students have numerous options to choose from, including diplomas that allow them to delve deeper into a particular field of study. They can choose from various educational specializations: educational administration, educational principles, educational psychology, mental health, curricula and teaching methods, or special education... and then continue their studies at the master's and doctoral levels.
An introductory meeting is held for incoming students to help them learn about the various majors and activities offered at the college.
The college has also set up a room for incoming students that serves as a lounge and additional lecture space.
Activities and Courses:
- In cooperation with the university's Career Development Center, international students enrolled in several free courses. The courses aimed to equip them with new skills, integrate them culturally into the university community, and provide them with various time management skills using a variety of training methods. All international students participated in these courses, and a select group of faculty members from the college and university attended.
Student Activities:
Students are encouraged to participate in student activities. Last year, one student won a short story competition.
Students also participated in a trip to Port Said through the university's Expatriate Affairs Department.
A second-year Arabic language student won first place at the university level in the Expatriate Affairs Department's central competition, "Egypt in the Eyes of its Expatriate Students."
Technical support is provided to international students to register for courses using the Ibn Al-Haytham platform through the Academic Coordinator for International Students. Academic advisors in all departments are also available to assist with any problems they may encounter.
