Student Union

Student Union Overview

The Student Union of the Faculty of Education is formed by students elected through student union elections. The elected students then choose from among themselves a Secretary and Assistant Secretary for the Student Affairs Committees. Subsequently, they elect the Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the Union, followed by the selection of the remaining members.

Importance of the Student Union

One of the most important roles of the Student Union is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in university decision-making, defend their rights, and activate extracurricular activities that help shape their personalities and broaden their knowledge. The Union also plays a vital role in organizing cultural and sports events that enrich student life, break academic monotony, and open new doors for communication and collaboration.

Additionally, the Union plays a role in preparing future leaders by offering an environment where students learn how to negotiate, plan activities, and make decisions. It fosters teamwork, encourages volunteerism, and helps build a cohesive student community capable of tackling challenges.
